My journey into PR began over 12 years ago at the National Canine Defence League (now The Dogs Trust) where Nick and I first met. From the NCDL I headed to another animal welfare charity The Blue Cross before moving into agency working at Hill & Knowlton and Burnett Associates across a variety of clients including Greenpeace, The Disabilities Trust and NSPCC. From agency I went back in-house again and headed up the consumer and trade PR for Nickelodeon’s flagship UK channel – Nickelodeon. From there I moved to Sony Pictures Television International and finally ended up at Disney Consumer Products as European Corporate Communications Manager before launching ENPR.

I have been working in PR for over three years beginning my career at Homechoice specialising in corporate communications. A move to Braben PR saw me joining the corporate team working across various clients within the media and entertainment sector, including Thinkbox, The Discovery Channel and Dennis Publishing. I joined ENPR in March 2008.

I’ve been working in PR for over 15 years and I still love it today as much as I did when I first started at the National Canine Defence League (now The Dogs Trust). At the NCDL I was in charge of campaigns and issues.  After the NCDL I did a stint at Hill & Knowlton – one of the world’s biggest PR consultancies. I worked on accounts including The Kentucky Distillers’ Association and Novartis Animal Health.  Next for me it was a journey into TV. I worked at Discovery Networks Europe where I was responsible for all trade and consumer PR across the suite of six channels. From there I went on to head up the PR team at Nickelodeon and oversaw the launch of the Nicktoons channel which won PR Week’s Consumer Campaign of the Year in 2003. Prior to launching ENPR with Emma I headed up the communications team at Homechoice and was responsible for all of the consumer and corporate PR. This role included devising and executing the internal and external communications strategy around Homchoice's sale to Tiscali in August 2006.
